Due to the new rules package at Talladega, I have been watching more of their practice session on FS1. It appears passing will be ample and speeds are high. White knuckle driving at an upward speed of 205 MPH. Also interesting, the Manufacturers appear to have all cars specifically working with primarily their partner teams (Chevy, Ford, and Toyota. Back at Daytona, the Hendricks (Chevy) Gibbs (Toyota) teams' worked together in February, which was a shock to most.
I have not had much luck the past few years at Daytona but have done much better at Talladega. I will study and hopefully have a few plays, which will be underdogs are more of a longshot to win the race. Think there is a high chance chaos and carnage ensues.

"Following consultation with teams after opening practice at Talladega Superspeedway, NASCAR officials tweaked the rules package for the 2.66-mile track, adding a 1-inch wicker to the cars’ spoiler in an effort to quell concerns with engine rev and closing speeds.
With the addition of the wicker — an angled metal strip attached to the top end of the spoiler to increase drag — teams also have the options of changing gears without being penalized, provided that change occurs before qualifying."
